A small team, a handful of coasts, and an instinct that travel should feel personal again.
Why we built MIKI VILLAS
MIKI VILLAS started with a frustration familiar to anyone who's tried to book a proper home on the Kenyan coast: the gap between the photograph and the arrival. Too often, the listing promised a dream and the keys handed over a project.
We decided to fix the only part of that problem we could actually control — the verification. Every home on MIKI passes a structured, pass/fail inspection before it goes live, and we re-inspect yearly. When a villa doesn't meet the bar, we help the owner get it there through our Miki Design programme, or we turn it down.
We're a small team based in Nairobi and Watamu, with inspectors in Diani and Kilifi. We don't list every home that asks. The portfolio is intentionally short.
